Dear Friends and Neighbours

As the season of giving nears, I wish to share with you remarkable equipment your charity plans to bring to the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre to benefit moms, babies and their families.

With your support this Christmas, the South and Central Health Foundation plans to provide Sleeper Chairs for the partner or family member to stay and help mom and baby. Additionally, to assist staff in providing the hospital’s tiniest patients like Baby Quinn and new mom Jessica, with the best care possible, the Foundation will invest in a Birthing Bed, a Medical Grade Electronic Breast Pump, and a Nitrous Oxide Gas System for pain management during delivery.

In the spirit of giving, I am asking for your help to complete this very special Christmas project. There are times when you have the chance to do something truly wonderful for others in your community - this is one of them!

I ask that you take a few moments to complete your pledge form which you will find enclosed. To make an immediate online donation, visit our secure website at www.schf.nl.ca. Your charitable receipt will go to your inbox within minutes. A charitable receipt will be issued for all donations of $10 or greater.

The newborns, their parents and everyone at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre who work to serve you, join me in thanking you for your generous partnership and support. On behalf of the Board of Directors and staff, warmest thoughts and best wishes for a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Sincerely,

Leon King
President
